Yobe State Commissioner for Information, Home Affairs and Culture Abdullahi Bego has disowned a Facebook page called “Bego Foundation”.
The commissioner said on Saturday that he has no association with the page and does not know the person or persons who are behind it.
“This is a NO, NO!!! I just stumbled on this page called BEGO FOUNDATION on Facebook.
“I want to make clear that I have no association with it or with the person or persons who are behind it.
“I have NO Foundation established in my name and I have given absolutely NO authorisation for anyone to set up one.
“I urge that my friends on this platform to ignore the page (Bego Foundation) and totally disregard its contents.”
