The dethroned emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II has arrived in Lagos this night after leaving Awe, Nasarawa State, en route Abuja.
He was escorted all the way from Awe to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja by Kaduna State Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai.
The duo stopped over briefly in Lafia where Sanusi bade farewell to the Nasarawa State Governor Abdul Sule.
The Kaduna State Governor kept his followers up to date with the deposed monarch’s journey on his Twitter handle.
