The National Chairman of the Jamaatu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah has condoled with the family and friends of Jamilu Shinkafi who died in a road accident near Akwanga while returning to Abuja from Bauchi.
Shinkafi, who has since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites, was in Bauchi for the wedding of a friend Ibrahim Rabo at the weekend.
Sheikh Bala Lau, who shared a group picture with the deceased during a trip to the United Kingdom together with Sheikh Kabiru Gombe, prayed for the repose of his soul.
“Whatever Allah takes is for Him and whatever He gives, is for Him, and everything with Him has a limited fixed term (in this world).
“My sincere condolence to the Family and friends of Alhaji Jamilu Shinkafi who died in a ghastly accident yesterday. May Allah grant him Jannah,” Lau tweeted on Tuesday.
