Former Military President retired General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida has said that equipping Nigeria’s armed forces with modern weapons and training are some of the ways to end insecurity in the country.
IBB, who spoke in a Sallah message, also called in Nigerians to cooperate with the government in its effort to secure the country.
The former leader told the BBC Hausa service that he advises the government from time to time and there was no need publicising it in the media.
He described insecurity as the greatest challenge Nigeria currently faces, urging Nigerians to also pray for the government to succeed in bringing the problem to an end.
