The Gombe state Ministry of Internal Security and Ethical Orientation has identified and in conjunction with the police, arrested one Yusuf Haruna, a self volunteer Vigilante for canning a young man and teenage girl.
The incident happened last Thursday, April 23, 2020 during the curfew in Gombe State at Pantami Quarters.
A video of the incident has since gone viral in the social media and generated a lot of interest interests and comments from within and outside the state, including Human Rights Organisation.
Yusuf, the culprit after the arrest was handed over to the Police Command in Gombe for further investigation on human rights abuses today, Friday, May 1, 2020, a statement by Gombe State Commissioner of Internal Security and Ethical Orientation D.B. Zambuk said.
