The Federal Government is to repatriate another $321million Abacha loot in a tripartite deal with the Island of Jersey and the United States of America, the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has said.

Briefing journalists on the outcome of the first Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari this year, Malami said the deal will be signed next week.

According to him, the three parties agreed that the money would be spent on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, the 2nd Niger Bridge and the Kaduna-Kano Expressway.

Similarly, the Federal Government is to repatriate another €6.8m loot linked to Delta State former governor James Ibori. Malami however said negotiation is yet to start on the Ibori loot.

He also said discussions would soon start on looted assets linked to former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs Dezieni Alison-Madueke.
