Facebook has removed a statement posted on President Muhammadu Buhari’s page. The post was earlier deleted by Twitter which said the tweet violated its rules.
Facebook, which also removed the post on Friday, same day Nigeria announced the suspension of Twitter operations in Nigeria, said it also violated its rules.
“In line with our global policies, we’ve removed a post from President Buhari’s Facebook page for violating our Community Standards against inciting violence.
“We remove any content, from individuals or organisations that violates our policies on Facebook,” it said.
