Ex-Nigerian Ambassador to Ireland Bolere Ketebu dies at 67

A former Nigerian Ambassador to Ireland Mrs Bolere Ketebu has died at the age of 67.

President Muhammadu Buhari in a condolence message by presidential spokesman Femi Adesina, condoled with the Ketebu family, the Bayelsa State government, as well as friends and professional colleagues of the late Dr (Mrs) Bolere Ketebu.

The president recalled that the deceased served her country creditably in several capacities, including President, National Council of Women Societies, Secretary to Bayelsa State government, Member, House of Representatives, and Ambassador, among others.

President Buhari prayed that God will grant repose to the soul of the departed medical doctor-cum-diplomat, and comfort all who mourn her.

Born on February 25, 1954, Mrs Ketebu was married to Chief Alabo Chief Alabo Graham-Douglas. She is survived by three daughters, Ibiso Dokuboba, Daba Alaiyiba and Botoba Tamunolobobikiya Graham-Douglas, and two sons Ibaniasemabo Tamunoinemi and Owanari Bekinbo Graham-Douglas.
