The presentation of staff of office and coronation of Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli as the 19th Emir of Zazzau is set to hold on Monday, November 9, 2020, Dateline Nigeria reports.
Sources close to the Zazzau palace told Dateline Nigeria that the recent visit by Emir Bamalli to the Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Saad Abubakar was to invite him formally to the ceremony.
An organising committee under the chairmanship of the Wazirin Zazzau Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad Aminu has already been set up.
The new emir, during a visit to Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, had promised to carry everyday along in his rule, including those who contested for the throne with him.
It would be recalled that one of the contenders Iyan Zazzau Bashar Aminu has asked a Kaduna State High Court to restrain Governor El-Rufai from crowning Bamalli as the emir pending the determination of his suit.
