An elder statesman Alhaji Musa Musawa has passed on, one of his daughters Hannatu Musa has confirmed.
Hannatu Musawa, a barriater and spokesperson for the APC presidential campaign, said her father died Tuesday night around 8.30pm in Kaduna after a protracted illness.
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.
7th March 2023 at 8:30, Alhaji Musa Musawa returned to Allah. May Allah accept his good deeds and grant him Janat ul Firdous. My heart has been shattered to a million pieces. I love you Dad, I salute you, I honor you. I love you for all of eternity,” Hannatu said in a Facebook post.
The funeral prayers (janaza) for the late statesman will hold today in Kaduna, family sources informed Dateline Nigeria.
Born on April 1, 1937, the deceased was a broadcaster, diplomat and astute politician.
