Former Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara has returned to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Yobe State Governor and Chairman of APC Caretaker/Extraordinary National Conversation Planning Committee, Mai Mala Buni, confirmed this to journalists after a meeting with President Muhammad Buhari at the State House Abuja.
Dogara, who was in the company of Buni, did not speak to journalists at the State House.
He had dumped the ruling party for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2018 in the run up to the 2019 elections after falling out with the then governor of Bauchi State Mohammed Abubakar.
