Famous Nigerian rap artist Terry Tha Rapman has released his long-awaited first single of the year 2022.
The title of the song is Dankwali (Hausa for head tie or headscarf), featuring Ozee, a popular Afrofusion singer.
The single borrowed its name and chorus from a song by Nigerien group Sogha Niger, which is popular with Hausa speakers, especially in Northern Nigeria.
Dankwali is already popular on Boomplay, a media streaming and download service, which focuses on African and international music.
