The charity Save the Children has warned that measures to deal with the coronavirus could lead to the biggest increase in child marriage in 25 years.
It said the economic fallout of the pandemic is pushing more people into poverty, with girls being forced out of school and into work or marriage.

Around 12 million girls are victims of early marriage every year, but another half a million are now estimated to be at risk.
Girls in South Asia are thought to be the most vulnerable, followed by parts of Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.
