COAS presents new Hilux to Army Warrant Officer to restore rank’s prestige

  • Urges other soldiers to imbibe the good traits

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya has presented Army Warrant Officer Umar Musa the Regimental Sergeant Major of Headquarters, Nigerian Army Ordnance Corps with a brand new Toyota Hilux vehicle.

While presenting the Toyota Hilux on behalf of the COAS, The Commander Nigerian Army Ordnance Corps, Maj Gen AS Ibikunle stated that the presentation was part of the COAS efforts at restoring the prestige associated with the rank of Army Warrant Officer and Office of the Regimental Sergeant Major.

He urged the other soldiers to remain disciplined and imbibe the good traits.

Army Warrant Officer Umar Musa thanked the COAS for his kindness and promise to continue to give his best to the service.

He also thanked the Commander, Nigerian Army Ordnance Corps for his support and encouragement.

Highlights of the event was the handing over of the key of the brand new Toyota Hilux to AWO Umar Musa and group photograph.
