A former Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly matters (House of Representatives) Kawu Sumaila has condemned the killings of innocent northerners in some southern parts of Nigeria.
Sumaila, a former member of the House of Representatives, said “all hands must be on deck to address these attacks.
“Northern politicians must address this as a matter of urgency. Silence is not the answer,” he said.
Sumaila added that “All lives are important and there is no justification for taking one. We shall never celebrate correcting a wrong with another wrong.”
Several northerners have allegedly been killed while some are still missing in Ibadan and other parts of Oyo State.
