Former Emir of Kano and Khalifa of Tijjaniyya in Nigeria Muhammadu Sanusi II has led Muslim faithful to observe Eid prayers at the Murtala Mohammed Square in Kaduna.
Present at the eid ground on Tuesday were Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufa’i, Sen Uba Sani (APC, Kaduna Central), and many others.
Dateline Nigeria reports that the former emir had led the Eid el-Fitr prayer in May in Kaduna.
The former Emir had been frequenting Kaduna since his dethronement by Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
