The Chief of Staff to Governor of Borno, Prof Isa Marte Hussaini has taken over the affairs of Ministry of Health as directed by Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum.
Dr Salisu Kwaya-Bura, who was earlier relieved of his position as the commissioner, handed over to Prof Marte on Monday, even as he thanked the governor and the staff’s of the ministry for their support while discharging his duties.
Prof. Isa Marte, in a statement, expressed gratitude to Dr Salihu Kwayabura for his immense contributions to the development of Borno’s public health sector.
He called upon the staff of the ministry to respect time while discharging their duties and assured them of his total support as a professor of pharmacology, a fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Science with speciality in cancer research.
