Zulum begins multi-departmental vocational complex at Mafa

… feeds 7,000 households

Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, on Friday laid foundation for the construction of a modern vocational training Centre which will have 14 different departments for combined number of 800 trainees at a time.

Expected to be completed before May 29 2020, the centre is in line with the Governor’s aggressive efforts on jobs creation, being one of his ten- pact development agenda.

Aside laying foundation for the vocational centre, Zulum, in his typical style carried out humanitarian activities.

He directly supervised the distribution of food and Non – food items to over 7,000 Households in order to ease needs. The items distributed included Rice, maize, Beans, vegetable oil, mats and Blankets required for the cold weather.

The Governor them held interactive sessions with elders and other leaders in Mafa, APC Executives, youths and women of the LGA.

Zulum urged them all to promote peaceful coexistence and involve themselves in community development activities that will take Mafa to the #NextLevel.
