Governor Bello Mohammed, in the company of the Minister of Zangon Ghana Affairs, Hon. Ben Abdallah Banda. has met with the Ghanaian Ministers of Education and sports, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum and Honourable Mustapha Ussif where they held closed door bi-lateral discussions in Accra.
The Governor met the two Ministers in the early hours of Sunday where they held lengthy discussions, exploring possible ways of co-operation between Zamfara State and the Ghanaian nation.

After the meetings, the two Ministers commended the special interest ever expressed by a Governor from Nigeria on the ways mutual benefits can be exploited by the two countries.
Governor Matawalle said the meetings with the Ministers focussed on areas of special interest and how the two sides can exploit the abundant chances of mutual benefits in terms of Education and sports.
Governor Matawalle was optimist that a partnership with Ghana will benefit his state a lot as the Ghanaian experience is plausible, especially in terms of Education
The Governor has also paid a second visit to the Vice-President of Ghana where his earlier meeting held with the Vice -President on Thursday was cemented before his final departure to Nigeria
