The National Emergency Management Agency (North West Zonal Office) in collaboration with FRSC, Kaduna SEMA, NUTRW, Red Cross Society, Kastelea have Flagged off operation eagle eye today along Kaduna-Zaria highway.
The Zonal Coordinator NEMA north west, Malam Imam Garki said the operation eagle eye was meant to sensitize motorists during yuletide in order to mitigate road accidents that hold every December.
He said “this exercise is to ensure that drivers obey roads signs, speed limits and all that is necessary to keep the roads safe for all road users”
Malam Garki further explained that the operation eagle eye is very important as it is the period mostly people travel for holiday and festivities that makes the road very busy.
