The Yobe State delegation to Niger Republic’s presidential inauguration led by the State Assembly Speaker, Hon. Ahmed Lawan Mirwa has met the new president, Mohammed Bazoum at his home in Niamey.
The speaker met and discussed with President Bazoum on behalf of His Excellency Gov. Mai Mala Buni.
Gov. Buni had also attended the inauguration in Niger but was part of the Federal Government delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Geoffrey Onyeama.
Yobe is one of Nigerian states to the North that share borders with Niger Republic.
The delegation prayed for Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant President Bazoum wisdom and protection as he works to unify, secure, and develop his country.
