A political support group, Makarfi Ambassadors, has predicted victory for the presidential, governorship and other candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State.
The presidential candidate of the PDP Atiku Abubakar will face 17 other contenders in the presidential and National Assembly election holding Saturday, February 25.

A statement by the Group’s Coordinator, General Matters Mr. Abdullahi Ahmed and Coordintor Planning/Strategy Engr. Bolade Aina said PDP will win Kaduna by a wide margin in the presidential and national assembly elections.
“The facts on the ground show that PDP leads in popularity in Kaduna. This explains the desperation of the All Progressives Congress (APC), especially now that vote-buying has been made difficult by the naira redesign policy.
“However, even without the new naira policy, Kaduna State voters, just like their counterparts across the country have made up their minds to sack APC. They have had enough of their incompetent and divisive rule.
“No patriotic voter will be foolish enough to keep the APC in power. That will be like signing one’s death sentence with one’s own hands. The people want Isa Ashiru as governor and that is not in doubt.
“We are optimistic that our votes will count. As a matter of fact, we thank God our people have realised the hypocrisy of the APC, especially in Kaduna and have resolved to vote for the PDP so as to get the good governance they desire,” Makarfi Ambassadors said in the statement.
The statement also called on supporters of the PDP to remain resolute, firm and calm as victory is in sight come Saturday, February 25 and March 11, 2023.
