We’re close to delivering Kawo bridge, El-Rufai says

Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has said that his government will soon deliver on the Kawo overhead bridge.

El-Rufai said this in a post on his official Facebook page on Thursday.

“God-willing, we are close to fulfilling our promise of building a new Kawo bridge. We are doing it in our effort to ease congestion caused by vehicular movement

“Articulated vehicles can also used the bridge which has three rotaries underneath for the use of motorists coming from Rafin Guza anf Mando.

“Continue to pray for us to be able to discharge the responsibilities placed on our shoulders by Almighty Allah,” El-Rufai said.

Dateline Nigeria reports that the new bridge will also have a dual carriageway with shoulder and pedestrian walkway on the sides.

The length of the bridge is 832 meters long and the width is 22 meters.
