“To ensure success in this regard, I would like to direct the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism and other relevant organizations to ensure the rehabilitation of all the facilities at this site and ensure adequate preparation for future festival events.”

The governor informed that the government had received the report of the Technical Committee on the Revitalization of Agriculture, adding that a steering committee would soon be appointed to ensure the implementation of the recommendations of the Technical Committee.

“We would ensure that we enhance aggregate production in crop farming, livestock farming, irrigation activities, and fisheries in order to help put our people on the path to self-reliance and wealth creation,” he added.

He also appealed to the people to continue to pray for the return and sustenance of peace in Yobe State, the North-East sub-region and other parts of the country.
