As consultations continue ahead of the campaigns for the 2023 general elections, APC Presidential Candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, his running mate Kashim Shettima and the Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council Governor Simon Bako Lalong, on Tuesday, met with former President Goodluck Jonathan at his residence in Maitama.
The meeting which held behind closed door was also attended by Governors Mohammed Badaru Abubakar (Jigawa), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Bello Matawalle (Zamfara) and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), among other members of the campaign team.
The details of the meeting were not disclosed.
Earlier, the Candidate, his running mate, the Director General Simon Bako Lalong and other progressive Governors had met at the Tinubu Campaign Headquarters where they held strategic discussions behind closed doors.
Thereafter, they met with APC Speakers of State Houses of Assembly to also startegise on efforts at galvanising the energy of the party across the country for the success of the party.
Governor Lalong had also joined the Progressive Governors to visit President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House where they also paid a visit to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
