Three of the returnees recently evacuated from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) have tested positive for COVID-19, Lagos State Health Commissioner Prof Akin Abayomi has said.
He said this followed the result of the COVID-19 test conducted on them, Abayomi said on his twitter handle.
“Those affected have been admitted to Lagos COVID19 care centre for appropriate treatment protocols,” he added.
He said the Lagos State Government and the Lagos State Ministry of Health will continue to adhere strictly to quarantine protocols and enforce necessary precautionary measures so as to contain the spread of COVID-19 infection.
