Thousands of people converged on Bichi Emirate today, Friday, January 8, 2021 to witness the wedding fatiha of the daughter of the Emir Nasir Ado Bayero.
Princess Zainab (Umma) Nasir Bayero got married to Engr Aminu Abdullahi Bature at the Palace of the emir.
Governors Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano) and Abubakar Sani Bello (Niger), as well as Minister of Communication and Digital Economy Dr. Ali Isa Pantami were in attendance.
Also present were Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Works Engr. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar Bichi, and Speaker Kano State House of Assembly Engr. Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari.
Leader of Qadriyya Movement in West Africa Sheikh Qariballah Nasir Kabara and several other religious scholars were there, same with serving and former commissioners, and other top government functionaries, among others.
