Tambuwal, Ganduje tie nuptial knot for Malami’s son

  • Deputy Senate President, Gombe, Kebbi, Zamfara Govs, Sheriff, Others Grace Wedding

Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto state on Saturday represented the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation in the marriage for the latter’s son, Abiru Rahman Abubakar Malami.

At the modest wedding fatiha, which took place at Al-Furqan mosque, Alu Avenue, Kano, Gov. Tambuwal presented N250,000 cash as dowry for the bride, Aisha Humairah Ibrahim Umar, represented by Gov. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state.

Presiding over the solemnization, Dr Bashir Umar, the Imam of Al-Furqan mosque, prayed for the couple wishing them conjugal bliss just as he also prayed for peace and harmony in the country.

The Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege along with some Senators, Governors of Gombe, Kebbi and Zamfara were among high profile politicians at the wedding, which was also attended by the Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF), Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu, Sen. Magnus Ngei Abbe, formerly of Rivers South East Senatorial District of Rivers State, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff, former governor of Borno state and a broad spectrum of legal luminaries.

The politicians later retreated into the Africa House inside Government House, Kano for few minutes.
