Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State has condoled with the family of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo over the death of the sage’s eldest daughter, late, Rev. Mrs Tola Oyediran (1941-2020).
Tambuwal, who is also the Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) along with the Chairman of the Forum, was among many guests of the Awolowos at Jericho, Ibadan for the burial of Mrs Oyediran.
Before her death Mrs Oyediran was the Chairperson of the African Newspaper of Nigerian PLC, publishers of The TRIBUNE newspapers.
She was buried at All Saints Church Cemetery, Ologuneru, Ibadan.
