Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto state has approved the posting and redeployment of two new permanent secretaries to their new places of assignment.
Also affected by a similar development is a Director General, Shehu Aliyu Binji, according to a statement by Tambuwal’s media aide Muhammad Bello on Friday.
The new permanent secretaries posted are: Muazu Madawaki, moved from internal security to agriculture; and Kulu Mohammed Suleiman, deployed from ministry of female education to that of transport.
On his part, Binji will oversee the affairs of his office at the Fertiliser and Agricultural Supplies Company (FASCO).
According to the state Head of Service, Abubakar Muhammad, the deployments are with immediate effect and the appointees are to report at their places of new postings on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023.
He said handing and takeover notes by the appointees are to be forwarded to the Office of the Head of Service, Sokoto state, “for record purposes.”
