TAJBank appoints Dr Jameel Sadis as Non-Executive Director

TAJBank, Nigeria’s second non-interest bank, has appointed Dr Jameel Muhammad Sadis as a Non-Executive Director. The appointment has been approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Dr Sadis disclosed the appointment in a post on his Facebook page on Saturday.

“Having obtained the requisite qualifications, I am humbly pleased to inform you that I was nominated as Non-Executive Director in the TAJBank Board of Directors, and accordingly, the Central Bank of Nigeria has graciously approved my appointment as a Non-Executive Director,” Dr Sadis posted.

“Sequel to this development, I solicit your sincere prayers for Allah’s Guidance and Wisdom in the course of discharging this task. I also encourage you to have an account with TAJ BANK to contribute in making the Islamic banking sector greater. More branches in several states are coming soon insha Allah,” he added.

Born August 17, 1980 in Zaria, Kaduna State, Dr Jameel Muhammad Sadis is the Deputy Director Financial Operations at the American University of Nigeria (AUN) in Adamawa State.

He holds a PhD in Qur’anic Science from the Islamic University Madinah, Saudi Arabia, a PGD International Studies & Management from SOAS University of London, and MSc Islamic Finance and Management Durham.
