Schools in Nasarawa to reopen October 5

Schools is Nasarawa are set to resume on Monday, October 5, 2020 after the COVID-19 break.

Hajiya Fatu Sabo, who is the state Commissioner for Education said this on Friday in Lafia, adding that “The resumption is for public and private schools.”

“This followed the submission of a report by a committee set up by the state government comprising stakeholders to work out modalities for the safe reopening of schools,” she said.

The commissioner added that her ministry is taking preventive measures to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols ahead of the reopening of the schools.
