Sanwo-Olu, Gbajabiamila mourn wife of Lagos chief of staff

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila have mourned the death of Princess Adedoyin Raliat Ayinde, the wife of Lagos State Chief of Staff Mr Tayo Ayinde.

Sanwo-Olu said in Facebook post, “On behalf of my family, my cabinet, the Lagos State government, and the people of Lagos State, I commiserate with my Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Ayinde on the death of his beloved wife, Princess Adedoyin Raliat Ayinde, née Ojora.

“No doubt the death of a loved one is usually a painful episode in our lives, because it is irreparable. But we must always take solace in God whom we can never question.

“We should be consoled by the fact that she impacted many lives positively as a public officer at the Apapa Local Government Area, where she served passionately and contributed her quota to the growth and development of the local government and Lagos State.

“Princess Adedoyin Raliat Ayinde was a trusted partner, friend, wife, and great supporter to her husband, Mr. Tayo Ayinde and a caring mother to her children, and a loving daughter to her parents. May God grant all her loved ones the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Eternal rest grant her O Lord. Amen.”

In his condolence message, Gbajabiamila said he was shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Princess Adedoyin Raliat Ayinde, whom he described as a young woman who was committed to the service of humanity.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, the Speaker sent his condolences to the Ayinde family, the government, and the people of Lagos State over the irreparable loss.

Gbajabiamila prayed that God grant the soul of Princess Adedoyin Raliat eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
