Repelled Boko Haram attack: Buni sympathises with Yobe police

Governor of Yobe State, Hon Mai Mala Buni has commiserated and sympathized with the Yobe State Police Command over the attack by Boko Haram terrorists on Babbangida, Headquarters of Tarmuwa Local Government Area on 24th October, 2020.

A Mopol Insp. lost his life, while two other officers were injured in the gun duel with the insurgents. The gallant officers successfully repelled the attack by inflicting heavy casualty on the Boko Haram Terrorists.

The Yobe State governor, represented by the Secretary to the Yobe State Government Baba Mallam Wali, sustained the policy of boosting morale of all security agencies by assisting giving N1 million each to the family of officers who died in combat action and N500,000,00) each to officer who sustained injury while in combat action.

The Director Cabinet and Security Yakubu Musa Damagum presented N500,000,00 to one of the injured Mopol Inspector on behalf of Governor Mai Mala Buni.
