A reception was held today in honour of Malam Sani Liman Kila, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kaduna State and a retired Comptroller of Nigerian Immigration Service.
The event, held at the Unity Hall of Hamdala Hotel, was attended by top government officials, family members, friends and associates of Kila.
Described as a seasoned administrator and dedicated public servant who rose to the position of Comptroller of Nigerian Immigration Service in his career, Kila’s appointment as Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, was considered a major win for the state administration.
In attendance at the reception were the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe and the wife of Kaduna State Governor, Her Excellency Hafsat Uba Sani, along with other eminent personalities from all walks of life from across the country.
The event was organized by a group of like minds and associates of the Chief of Staff, who wanted to celebrate his appointment and numerous contributions to the development of Nigeria and Kaduna State.
Sani Liman expressed appreciation to the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani for chosing him to serve in that capacity. He also thanked the organizers and all those who attended the event to honour him, urging all to sympathize with him for the burden of work awaiting him.
