Kaduna based Islamic scholar Dr Ahmad Gumi has unveiled where and how he will conduct this year’s tafsir (commentaries of the Holy Qur’an) as the annual Ramadan fast begins in days
Dr Gumi said the tafsir will hold in his Kaduna residence and only 10 people will be in attendance.
The exercise used to hold annually at the Sultan Bello Mosque in Kaduna.
Health experts have warned against public gatherings as one of the means of slowing down the dreaded coronavirus pandemic. This has led to the stoppage of congregational prayers in mosques.
He however informed that the tafsir will be recorded and aired on various traditional and social media platforms.
