Nusaiba Shuaibu Ahmad from Kano State has won the national Quranic recitation competition female category, while Muhammad Auwal Gusau from Zamfara clinched the male category.
The competition, which started eight days ago, ended today in Kano.
The Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Saad Abubakar attended the closing ceremony.
