Qadiriyya lauds Buhari for road at Sheikh Nasiru Kabara centre

The leader of Qadiriyya Movement of Africa, Sheikh (Dr.) Qaribullahi Nasiru Kabara has expressed gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for providing a link road to Sheikh Nasiru Kabara Islamic Centre at Karmo District, Abuja.

The commendation was made public during the 70th anniversary of Moulud to commemorate the birth of the Sect founder, Sheikh Abdulqadir Jilani which was marked and attended by a mammoth crowd of followers, according to Sulaiman Muhammad Ayagi, Special Assistant on Public Communication & Strategies to Leader of Qadiriyya Movement of Africa.

Also present were President Muhammadu Buhari’s representative and Minister of Agriculture, Alhaji Muhammad Sabo Nanono, Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar and Emirs of Kano and Katagum, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero and Alhaji Umar Faruk II, respectively.

The Sect leader cum holder of the title of Peace Ambassador was delighted to inform the faithful of the laudable assistance and recognition the government of President Buhari has been extending to Qadiriyya sect and Islam in general.

Sheikh Qaribullah Kabara used the occasion to remind the president of his promise to further assist the Centre towards the completion of its multi-million naira mosque comprising of a state-of-the-art International Conference Centre, official residences of Imam and deputies amongst many other essential facilities to augment its planned international standard.

He thanked the president for his continued support as the Sect remains equally appreciative of Mr. President’s gesture of allocating an ambassadorial slot to the Movement. 

The spiritual leader of the Movement reassured Mr. President of the Sect readiness to sustain the existing cooperation and collaborate with government towards the progress of the nation while acknowledging the presence of PMB’s representative at the occasion in spite of other prior official commitments, an action that further confirmed PMB’s known attributes of being a teetotaler, disciplined fellow and committed Muslim.
