Professor Salisu Shehu has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Al-Istiqamah University, Kano.
This was disclosed by the founder of the university Kawu Sumaila on Sunday. Al-Istiqama is one of the 20 private varsities approved recently by the Federal Executive Council.
Salisu Shehu PhD. is a professor of Educational Psychology at the Department of Education, Bayero University Kano.
Prof. Shehu holds a degree of Bachelor of Arts (Ed) from BUK Masters in Educational psychology M.Ed from Bayero University, Kano and PhD. Educational Psychology from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto.
Before joining BUK in 1994, he has worked with the Federal College of Education Gombe.
