According to reports, the girl’s guardians locked her up because of a sickness.

ASP Abubakar said “the girl was locked up without being fed for eight months. When our personnel freed the girl, she couldn’t even walk because she has lost energy.

“She is in a very sorry situation. She was doing everything inside the case, including stoolinh and urinating.”

The police said the girl had been taken to a hospital for medical attention, adding that investigation will continue.
