Ortom sues for sustained understanding among arms of government

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has sued for sustained understanding among the three arms of government in the year 2021.

Governor Ortom spoke Sunday night at a dinner organised by the first family for members of the executive, legislature and judicial arms of government and their spouses, held at the Benue Peoples House Makurdi.

He noted that even as the outgone year 2020 presented a lot of challenges, 2021 would be better and called for sustained cordial working relationship in the new year.

The Governor restated the resolve of his administration and the executive not to interfere with the affairs of the legislature or judiciary, stressing that the family-like relationship that had existed among them would be sustained.

Deputy Governor of Benue State, Engineer Benson Abounu and his wife, Justice Mary Abounu also graced the dinner.

The event featured many artists including nollywood actor, John Okafor, aka Mr. Ibu, Od Woods, Romeo 14, Teddy King, New Jerusalem singers, Titus the gospel calabash singer, pastor Nicodemus Mbatsavtampu and Rapizo.
