Nigerians react as Anthony Joshua enrolls for National ID

Nigerians have taken to their social media handles to react to the reported enrolment for the National Identification Number by Boxing champion Anthony Joshua.

This followed a post by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) on twitter saying that the British-Nigerian boxer Joshua had already been issued his (National Identification Number (NIN) slip.

Dateline Nigeria reports that NIN has been made a requirement for JAMB registration and others. Only recently a minister called for the integration of National ID Cards, SIM and Bank Verification Number (BVN).
