The Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) has congratulated former Chief Whip of the House of Representatives and former minister Abubakar Bawa Bwari on the wedding of his daughter.
Samira Bawa Bwari got married to Najib Ahmed Idris after the payment of N200,000 as dowry.
Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State, who represented the NGF Chairman Dr. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, appealed to the new couple to be tolerant of each other and adhere to the tenets of marriage.
The wedding Fatiha was officiated by Sheikh Nurudeen Khalid, while the sermon was delivered by Amir Abubakar Sadiq who represented Sheikh Nurudeen Lemu.
Former Speaker House of Representatives, Ghali Na’abba, and Sanusi Ibrahim were the representatives of the bride and groom’s families.
Governors Atiku Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto, Senator Sani Musa and Rep Mohammed Umar Bago from Niger State were among the dignitaries at the occasion.
