Niger chief judge loses wife at 54

The Chief Judge of Niger State, Justice Aliyu Mohammed Mayaki, has lost his first wife Hajiya Khadijat Mohammed Mayaki.

Hajiya Khadijat, who was first wife of the Niger State Chief Judge, died at the age of 54.

The deceased is survived by her husband the Chief Judge of the State and 10 children. She has since been buried according to Islamic rites.

Meanwhile, Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State has commiserated with the chief judge over sad loss.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mary Noel-Berje, Governor Sani Bello said “death is a sad but necessary end to mortals, and Allah who gives life, also determines when to take it”.

The Governor prayed Allah to forgive the deceased all her short comings on earth and accept her soul in to Aljanna Firdausi.

He also prayed Allah to give the Chief Judge, family members and well wishers the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
