The National Emergency Management Agency Kaduna zonal office has encourage people of Zangon Kataf and environs to embrace peace and tolerate one another for the development of the area.
Zonal Coordinator of the agency, Alhaji Imam Abbani Garki gave advice while presenting relief materials to the families of attacked victims in seven communities of the local government area.
The Zonal coordinator described peace as paramount and urged them to ensure peace for socio-economic development of the area and the state in general.
During the distribution, food and non food items were distributed to the affected families.
Also speaking, the representative of the Kaduna state Emergency Management Agency Alhaji Yau Abdullahi commended NEMA for the distribution and reassured commitment to work hand in hand with affected communities to access the level of damage for more relief materials.
In response, the member representing Zangon Kataf /Jaba Federal constituency, Hon. Amos Gwamna Magaji called on people of the constituency to ensure peace irrespective of their differences.
