The police in Kano State have confirmed the discovery of naked corpses of a young man and his girlfriend inside the generator room of a house in Badawa area of Kano.
The incident reportedly happened on Wednesday evening around 10pm.
The police said the cause of the death has not been established, but the corpses have been deposited for autopsy.
Some residents said the house where the corpses was found is not where the young woman was residing.
Reports also said the two were about to get married before the unfortunate incident.
However, the parents of the 25-year-old man, simply identified as Auwalu, said they were told that the two died from suffocation caused by generator fumes.
