NAF airlifts conjoined twins, parents from Yenagoa to Yola

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has airlifted a set of conjoined twins along with their parents and medical team from Yenagoa to Yola, Adamawa State via Port Harcourt by helicopter and fixed wing transport aircraft.

The twins, who are joined at the abdomen, are expected to undergo surgery at the Federal Medical Centre Yola, according to information shared by NAF on its twitter handle on Thursday.

The Nigerian Air Force said it undertook the airlift as a humanitarian gesture to aid the family of the twins.  It said the entire Nigerian Air Force Family family prays for the successful operation.
