A mob has killed a vigilante member in Lugbe area of Abuja for allegedly making blasphemous statement against Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The incident took place Saturday at the Timber section of the market at the Federal Housing Estate (FHA) Lugbe in Abuja.
The member of the vigilante had sought refuge in their office, but his colleagues couldn’t save him bacause the irate youths were many, according to residents.
The police in the FCT have deployed in the area to douse tension.
