Late Maitama Sule’s son Ahmed dies

Ahmed Maitama Sule, the third male child of Nigeria’s former Permanent Representative to the United Nations late Alhaji Yusuf Maitama Sule (Dan Masanin Kano), has died after a brief illness.

His janaza will take place today at 1pm after Zuhr prayer in Kano at his residence.

Late Ahmed had his primary education at St. Bartholomew Primary School, in Zaria, Kaduna State. For his secondary education, he went to Government Secondary School, in Saminaka, Kaduna State. He was a graduate of History from the Bayero University, Kano (BUK).

Ahmad had worked with Kano Sugar Processing Company and Globacom. He was in April 2019 appointed as PATRON of the Ahmadu Bello Youth Council of Nigeria.

He is survived by a wife and seven children as well as siblings.
