Prince ‘Tunji Moronfoye, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Publicity Secretary in Kwara State on Tuesday, apologised to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq over corruption allegations he levelled against him.
He tendered the apology and retracted his press statement titled “Dark schemes of a Biased umpire” in which he made the allegation.

He described the statement released on the 16/06/2022 as misleading and unstubstanstiated.
“Especially, where I stated that the the sum of N300m, changed hands. This gross error was discovered after an intense scrutiny of the information released.
“I hereby apologize to Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq the executive governor of Kwara state and Mal. Garba Attairu Madami the Kwara state resident Electoral Commissioner on the above issue.
“I am also apologizing for any embarrassment, inconveniences and unpleasantness caused by my thoughtless purported statement.
